Joint patrols fight Malacca Strait piracy - 8 Dec 2008

Southeast Asia experienced piracy problems similar to that of Somalia's coast. Co-ordinated patrols by Indoensia, Malaysia and Singapore, along with increased security vessels have spaprked a dramatic downturn in piracy in recent years. Al Jazeera's Hannah Belcher went out on the seas of the Malacca Strait to seek out the fruit of their labour.
