Hate Vs. Tolerance

There is no excuse for degrading another human being with words as Ms. Coulter used, even conservatives are trying to distance themselves from her remarks. On the C -n- C blog we are asking if one does not promote or support any action that discriminates against gays but yet believes that the act is wrong, is that being intolerant? Do we have to condone the act to be tolerant? I guess we are wondering if tolerance has just become another buzz word.
