MOTU 828mkII Firewire has gone crazy

My 7 month old MOTU 828 mkII (Firewire) stopped working yesterday. 1st it had strange characters on the screen then I did a restart for it. It didn't start working after the restart and after several other ones as well. I unplugged it from every other device and also took out the power cable for a night. It didn't start working today either. Here you see what it does. The music you hear in the background was recorded using this device.
