Douglas Fairbanks Documentary Pt. 1 - Early Years

From the 2005 documentary film, "The Great Swashbuckler," produced by Delta Entertainment with the assistance of the Douglas Fairbanks Museum. Pt. 1 covers the time period from Fairbanks' birth in 1883 through his move to New York in 1901. Includes family history, information about his parents Ella Fairbanks and H. Charles Ulman, his childhood in Denver, and his first experiences on the stage. Fairbanks would soon leave Colorado for Manhattan to become a star of Broadway, a husband and a father. Featuring rare Fairbanks film clips, photographs and other materials from the museum's archives.
