ROBERT TAYLOR FILMS High Wall (1947) III

Plot synopsis(continuation of clip II) ...Henry Cronner, the elevator operator of Whitcombe's apartment, who knows how Helen died, visits Steven to propose him a deal. But as Steven is not be able to dispose of his money Cronner refuses to say what he knows. Before Steven decides what to do, Whitcombe kills Cronner in order to avoid he can divulge the information. Cronner's offer, however, has made Steven realizes that regaining his memory might prove his innocence, so he agrees to the sodium pentothal treatement from Ann and recounts the events of the evening of Helen's death. Whitcombe visits Steven and baits him into attacking him by telling him that he killed Cronner and Helen. As a result of the attack, Steven is placed in permanent seclusion.
