Meteor spotted streaking over Southern Ontario March 5, 2008

This meteor was caught on film disintegrating over Georgian Bay, near Parry Sound, on Wednesday March 5, 2008, at 10:59PM. The amazing thing is I saw it enter the atmosphere from my downtown Toronto 9th Floor apartment window - 142 miles away. It appeared as a white flare approx. 30-35 degrees up in the North/Northwest sky, descended and exploded into a red triangle fringed with yellow and continued streaking toward the horizon. The whole thing lasted 20 seconds. This video showing only the last seconds of the entry was caught by the University of Western Ontario's surveillance camera and it was reported by the Toronto Star.
