Damaged robot navigated to safety by functional teammate

This is a video of a robot sensor sharing experiment from the University of Nevada, Reno Robotics Research Laboratory. It begins with the robots moving in formation by using their laser measurement systems and fiducial markers. A fault in the second robot causes the laser to stop working. The robots rotate around, and the leader robot broadcasts its laser data (via Society) to the damaged robot. The damaged robot process the leaders data, and follows the leader to "safety". When leading the damaged robot to safety the leader robot uses sonar obstacle avoidance.
