Lipstick Promises by George Ducas

"Lipstick Promises" was a fun video to shoot because -- well - hey, I got to drive a really cool old Corvette, which was a lot cooler than my really old Ford truck...! I shot it just weeks after I shot my first video, "Teardrops", and both were shot in beautiful Los Angeles summer sun (and smog), before I had even hit the road yet to begin touring. Of course, "Lipstick" wound up being the big hit of my first CD, it went to #5 on the charts, and the video actually went #1 on CMT! In retrospect under those circumstances, I should have been smiling a lot more in this video...Just wish I coulda' kept that car -- dang it!
