Black History- Blanche Kelso Bruce

Blanche Kelso Bruce was the first African-American to serve a full term as a US Senator. His house is around the corner from where I live. The first African-American to serve in the Senate was Hiram Rhodes Revels who was born in the same town that I was, Fayetteville, NC. I just learned that, how sad. I dance in front of Bruce's house.
