Mr Diskin

Cheating Mr. Diskin, a chapter from "Soup", by Robert Newton Peck performed by members of Portland State University's Graduate Teacher Education Program (and a 9 year old). This chapter tells the story of how young Robert and Soup cheat Mr. Diskin so they can have enough money to see the double feature on a Saturday. Mr. Diskin discovers the stone embedded in the foil but gives them the 20 cents anyway. The boys say they feel like dirt for what they have done
