Supervisor Antonovich helps dedicate Fire Stations 93 and 136 in Palmdale

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich joined County Fire Chief P. Michael Freeman, Palmdale Mayor James Ledford, Vice Mayor Steve Hofbauer and Councilmen Mike Dispenza and Tom Lackey, and the residents of Palmdale and unincorporated areas, in dedicating Fire Stations 93 and 136. Completion of Fire Stations 93 and 136 will give Palmdale five dedicated fire stations within the City limits. In 2005, the City of Palmdale and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors initiated Fire Station 93 and 136 to meet the fire service needs of the community. The new state-of-the-art facilities will help reduce emergency response times to less than five minutes.
