1931 Reichstag session convenes

1931. German politicians arrive for the opening of a session of the Reichstag (probably the autumn session), including Alfred Hugenberg - leader of the German National People's Party (DNVP), Josef Goebbels of the National Socialists, and Chancellor Bruning. The 6th German federal election occurred on 14 September 1930 during the Weimar Republic. The total number of seats increased from the last election in 1928 (491) to 577 seats, however, the Sozialdemokratische Partei, who remained the largest party saw their share decrease. The Nationalsozialistische Partei on the other hand increased their seats from 12 to 107, while the Communist Party increased their share by 23 seats.
