It a collaboration between Piapro (A site devoted to vocaloid fan creation) with Asami Shimoda (The lady that voiced Rin and Len) as a celebration of Rin and Len's first birthday (dec 27th) Producers could send in the songs they had made and a few would be chosen for Shimoda to sing. Also, the airy style of Shimoda didn't really fit and kinda irked me. However, because of the circumstances, a majority think of them as twins. (Aku no Musume does have them as twins in it's canon, but not everyone got into the vocaloid scene through this song, most people have seen them as twins since they first came out.) Others like to see them as lovers, (usually it's a combination in the form of twincest) I also think this way, it's cute. You should respect someones opinion on how they see Rin and Len's relationship. If you want the truth. They're the opposite sides of a mirror (Len-left Rin-right) so really it's selfcest if the become lover/s.
