Boyle's Law Diving Science #1

It is one thing to tell new divers about Boyle's Law but it is another thing altogether to show them. In this video we want to show you what happens to the lungs, and air contained in therein, when a freediver descends to 14m. To do this we used an empty soda bottle, an orange balloon, and a freediving videographer Experiment TASK: to sink different thinks with air inside to a botom 14m of Vortex Spring. 1) Empty 2 Liter bottle with open cork 2) Orange baloon 3 Empty bottle again. note ===== freediver found a problem with equalasing while having staff (bottle and camera) in two hands=== There for; in experiments 2) and 3) showing bottle/ballon only from botom Experiment assistant and director; Miss Gidds Camera operator and freediver; Nik Vatin Spectators; some SCUBAs and fish. Water temperature +19,5*C Central USA time 10am
