Birdsongs of the Mesozoic: Transformation of Oz (1983 Mission Of Burma)

Footage of big, scary dogs attacking a moving car (and a girl vanishing in the woods) come from a super smart and highly creepy 80s supernatural drama called 'The Appointment' with Edward Woodward (E-war Woo-war)....... Music from the mostly instrumental band Birdsongs of the Mesozoic who are a post punk 'supergroup' with members from Mission Of Burma & Moving Parts. Their Magnetic Flip LP is a long time favourite, but this track from 1983 is genius, mixing post punk angst with classical, jazz and avant garde.
