Earth's Paleogeography - Continental Movements Through Time

Version 2.0 - This version uses rectangular maps rather than mollewide maps like in version 1.0. Another note of interest is that some time periods are shown differently, for example - the most recent ice age, shown in the 1st version shows the full extent of its reach, whereas this version doesn't. I apologize for the white text on ice sheets; however, the time periods can easily be understood and as such don't warrant the time to resolve the minor error. A good supplement to this video is located here: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/Geologictime.html describing, in brief, major events of each period & here: http://www.palaeos.com/Timescale/default.htm Hypothetical Future of Earth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv6p48v0meE&feature=related http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2000/ast06oct_1.htm Evolution morph from 530Ma - 248Ma: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCkEs8GQsqs&feature=related Video Information: Images created by Dr. Ron Blakey at Northern Arizona University Music by: Air - La Femme D'Argent
