Public Comments on Water Quality Palmdale & Lancaster Jan 10

Lancaster & PalmdaleCA face a water crisis, from uncontrolled develelopment, poor long range planning, financial restraints, seasonal drought and long range climate change. Compounded by reduced water supplies from Northern California, along with a judication process from a series of lawsuits, a dire water shortage exists. Soon to be a campaign issue, in this years local 2008 election. A DWS State Water Resource Consultant, Ken Kirby, in detail explained the coming crisis, accompanied by his teams of experts. This was a joint meeting of the Palmdale City Council &Water Planning Board, on 1-10-08.
