Fr. Robert Reyes Interview at Walk for Truth

"People should still stand up." Fr. Robert Reyes Interview at Walk for Truth. April 8, 2008. Tuesday. 9-11 a.m. March from Adamson University to the Supreme Court of the Philippines to file a motion for reconsideration regarding the 9-6 Executive Privilege ruling by the Supreme Court in favor of petitioner former National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Director Romulo 'Romy' Neri. I didn't see Fr. Reyes at the march, itself, but I think he also went to the Supreme Court to petition the latter to review the Court of Appeals ruling dismissing his petition of Writ of Amparo which he filed after the Department of Justice refused to lift its hold departure order (HDO) against him in relation to the recent Manila Peninsula siege: http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/metro/view/20080408-129137/Running-priest-seeks-SC-intervention-on-HDO On my way to Robinsons Manila after the march, I passed by Fr. Reyes talking to nuns and decided to interview him. After introducing myself, he also introduced his lawyer and I started the interview. Unfortunately, after he answered my first question, my camera ran out of memory (I discovered later that I failed to delete previous files) -- thus, the brief interview. Nonetheless, I was able to ask the most important question. Photos: http://filipinowriter.multiply.com/photos/album/49 http://www.FilipinoWriter.com/
