Knoxville, Tenn. company ImagePoint Inc. takes hit from economy

The company is also seeking a buyer for strategic parts of its business, according to KnoxvilleBiz.com. According to a press release, the shutdown is effective immediately and all 450 employees will be terminated. The release went on to say that some employees will stay on a few weeks longer in order to complete sign installations already started, handle any transition of business units to new owners, and liquidate any remaining assets.
