"WAR EAGLES" DISCUSSED

In the late 1930's, while at MGM, Merian C. Cooper (creator of King Kong) promoted a color film epic that would utilize stop-motion and creative talents of Willis O'Brien to animate giant prehistoric eagles. The project was sadly abandoned.
