Berlin airlift 1948

A short video illustrating what can be achieved with fsrecorder for FS2004. Here we have DC3's, DC4's, a C74 and 2 Fairchild C82's on the apron at EDDI. The effects, nav and landing lights can be seen on the aircraft , even in multiplayer. It enables you to have not just other multiplayer traffic but also authentic aircraft types, always providing your graphics card is powerful enough to display so many aircraft. This short segment was taken from a 50 minute fsrecorder file that contained 20 aircraft following the authentic approach procedures for an easterly landing at tempelhof airport durng the Berlin airlift. Imagine therefore 20 aircraft doing the same at Gatow EDUG and Tegel EDDT all at the same time, filling the skies with transports delivering vital food and coal to the population of Berlin.
