Judy Garland

A powerhouse packed into a 4' 11" (151 cm) frame, Judy Garland shot to stardom at 17 with "The Wizard of Oz". She and Mickey Rooney went on to star in 9 movies aimed at teen audience. The cute little girl in this video is her daughter Liza Minnelli. Ms. Garland's tumultuous life with drugs is well documented, and at the age of 47 she died of drug overdose. The soundtrack, "You Go To My Head" by Judy Garland, is a live recording at Carnegie Hall in 1961. NOTE: Since it's a live recording, if you listen closely, Ms. Garland forgot the lyrics about 57 seconds into the video, and, in a hilarious ad-lib, sang "with...and I forgot the god-darn words...(garbled)." The actual lyrics, which she later remembered, are "with a smile that makes my temperature rise, like a summer with a thousand Julys." NOTE 8/30/09: I've created a new channel called "SundroidHD", focusing on HD videos. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/SundroidHD
