Dale Torok and Martin Douthitt from Kentucky, USA, accompanied by Polish film maker, Oscar Kantor and Polish photographer, Mariusz Krzyzelewski, had decided to climb the mountain using the same route as explorer, Edmund Strzelecki, travelling from Geehi via Moiras Flats to the summit.
