La Bamba - Ritchie Valens [cc]

This is Ritchie Valens' (Richard Valenzuela) version of La bamba. I posted this because I've seen a lot of people confusing the Los Lobos version with the real deal, and I want people to be aware which is which. I know this isn't a video as much as a slideshow but it's all I can do at the moment. I have optional subtitles in spanish and a loosely done english translation. I do not own this song, it is property of the late Ritchie Valens and Del-Fi Records, and apparently UMG. (I guess they own Del-Fi) As you all can see, there are links to purchase the mp3 under the "video." I didn't put them there, but it's the only way UMG will let me keep this video up. Which is just fine with me! UPDATE: Wow, 17,000 views and climbing fast. This is now officially my most popular video... and the content isn't even mine. So I don't know whether to be happy that this video is letting so many people hear the real deal, or disappointed that the content of my most popular video, belongs to someone else. Update #2: Over 48,000 views. Wow. I'm really happy this is getting such a great response. Keep those comments coming in, I enjoy reading them. Update #3: Over 143,000 views!?! Amazing! I'm happy so many people enjoy this song as much as I do. Anyway, I've decided to remove my English translation, mostly because it doesn't seem necessary since youtube has it's own caption translation. But I still have it somewhere on my computer if you all want 'em back.
