Daisy Brittle Star

A Daisy Brittle Star (Ophiopholis aculeata) crawling on my hand after being lifted out of the water. This animal was found under a stone during a night time search at low tide while I spent a week out at the Isles of Shoals. Not the sinuous movement of the arms, not seen in true sea stars.
