Orthodox Church Miraculously Saved from Georgian Rocket Fire

In Georgia's attack on South Ossetia and its capital Tskhinvali, the military, under direction from Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, attempted to genocide South Ossetians by targeting civilians, Orthodox churches, cultural monuments, and other non-military subjects. This report describes an Orthodox church which was miraculously preserved from direct rocket attacks. Its preservation was attributed to the intercession of Saints and its status among the local Orthodox Christians as a Holy Relic.
