Don Vorhees and his Orchestra "Rain" 1927

The former leader of Earl Carroll´s Vanities Theatre Orchestra formed his band in 1927 for the new chain of radio stations of the American Columbia Company. Broadcasting from 15 stations three times a week the band became quite well known. This is one of it´s first recordings.
