Idea: New-York Historical Society Director Ferber at Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art

New-York Historical Society Director Linda Ferber talks about how the idea for the "Hudson River to Niagara Falls: 19th-Century American Landscape Paintings from the New-York Historical Society" at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art came to be. She is seen here at the exhibit's opening on July 11 at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the State University of New York at New Paltz. The show is part of the museum's Art and the River Project, which celebrates the Hudson River's quadricentennial. The show is on display through Dec. 13.
