Sesame Street - Fairy Alphabet
Beautiful alphabet vignette from Sesame Street circa the late '70s. Better known as "Madrigal Alphabet", this was animated by Jeff Hale, also known for the Pinball Number Count, The Typewriter Guy, and the Ringmaster series, according to MuppetWiki. The music was composed and performed by Carla Piper. You'll find her many wonderful projects for kids at Soundpiper Music: http://www.soundpiper.com/ And she's on YouTube (but not often from the looks of it) right here: http://www.youtube.com/user/carlapiper Thanks so much for this beautiful song, Carla! Madrigal refers to music from the 16th and 17th centuries: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madrigal_%28music%29 A gift from my site, The Sesame Street Lyrics Archive, enjoy! http://www.tinyd.net/sesame1.html Help yourself to the FREE .avi file and .mp3 of this and many songs here: Sesame Street Sounds Archive http://www.tinyd.net/sssounds.html The broadcast of this video is authorized by Sesame Workshop.
