Jolanda "Jo" Jones 2009 Hero Awards Part 1

Council Member Jolanda "Jo" Jones and her son, Jiovanni "Jio" Jones win the prestigious Hero Award. Jio and CM Jones saved the life of Megan Kaplan, a young girl trapped in a burning car, minutes before it exploded. The Pair were chosen from a national pool of candidates for one of six top honors along with other heroes such as Kathy Ireland.
