Sibby LeBeau Veteran's History Interview Part 2

In part two Sibby talks of his early education and his life before entering the Navy as and underwater demolitions expert during WWII. Sibby LeBeau is the Great Grandson of Hunkapapa Souix leader, Sitting Bull. He was raised on the Cheyenne River Reservation of South Dakota. He was chosen at an early age by the tribal Clan Mothers to be a Tribal "Rememberer". Now in his 86th winter, he works to pass along the customs and culture of his youth. Sibby is also a Veteran who served in reconaissance and underwater demolition roles. He speaks several different archaic languages and served as a "codetalker" during WWII. He is available for public appearances and research efforts.
