21 Days Together (Full Film) 1/8

21 Days Together, starring a young Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. Screenplay by Graham green, based on the story by John Galsworthy (the guy who wrote The Forsyte Saga) about a man who commits murder in self-defense and has three weeks to be with the woman he loves before he must be prosecuted. Fun fact: This movie was deemed so bad that it wasn't released until both its stars had become famous in 1939. The story has it that both Leigh and Olivier went to see it and were so displeased they walked out before it had finished. In my opinion it's not THAT bad (I've seen worse. Seriously. TRON, anyone?), but it certainly does show how both Leigh and Olivier improved in their screen acting abilities over time. Just bad? Or so bad it's GOOD? You be the judge.
