CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF LUNAR EXPLORATION Exactly Fifty years ago, in the first days of October 1959, the satellite LUNIK 3 from URSS reached for the first time "the other side" the far side of the moon taking for the first time some photos ( that were sent to earth some month later ); at that time i was a little bay...... This tango RAYO DE LUNA in Spanish meaning Ray of lune was composed about 1930-31 and here performed by an argentinian Orchestra of the editor Brunswick.
