Bluebell Woods by Alasdair Urquhart

Bluebell Woods I sit in quiet reverie painting by the woodland water an exquisite evening light casts upon this pond its luminous magic such a perfection in all things as the light reveals and then obscures in turn the alchemy of the nympheas as they glow a burnished bronze upon the water red deer drift gently into the picture such elfin creatures moving with elegant precision such a delicacy of manner exudes from their graceful presence as through the bluebells they wander ever the exquisite stirs the soul with silent joy and wonder at this alchemical time of year be in nature alive and vibrant as much as you can it has such a wonderful capacity to heal if we but surrender to it by Alasdair Urquhart
