These artists created, performed and taught at the Y, building the foundation for contemporary dance as we know it. Today, with generous support from the Harkness Foundation for Dance, the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center continues to be a home for dance teaching, creation and performance, serving the professional world and the community at large.
