A Walk Through Situn District in Taichung, Taiwan

This is an amazingly bustling, vibrant area of Taiwan at night. Usually, after 12 o'clock at night, even busier parts of the big cities in Taiwan get ready to close (even on the weekends). Not this district though. Tons of clothing shops, stands, malls, as well as food stands will keep you chugging through the graveyard shift. After having watched the movie Silk (and like some people, walking out crying), I drove my scooter from the movie theatre at Mizogoshi Department Store to the Situn District. You won't find many other foreigners here, but you'll see a wide variety of faces. I presume many of these of Taiwan's version of the hipster set. A less shallow kind of hipster, I'm sure, but still hipsterish!
