tweening
tweening A computer-supported ANIMATION technique where the computer fills in intermediate frames in an animation given a start frame and a finish frame. For example, if the start frame shows a person standing at a certain point and the end frame shows them in the air, the computer would then fill in (or tween) the frames which show the person jumping. See also MORPHING.
