1. Circular building with a conical, domed, or vaulted roof, e.g. a circular tomb roofed with a pseudo-dome of corbelled rings, such as the ‘Treasury of Atreus’, Mycenae (c.1300 bc).

2. Ancient Greek circular building, often with a peristyle and conical root, e.g. the Tholos of Epidaurus (c.350 bc).
