L. suprā adv. and prep., above, beyond, in addition (to), before the time of, in comps. parallel to those of super-, but with a different distribution; used in many techn. terms, esp. anat. and zool. (opp. INFRA-, SUB-). supralapsarian pert. to the view that God's election of some was antecedent to the Fall of Man XVII.
