relative-importance value

relative-importance value In ecology, a concept similar in principle to importance value, but based on original, somewhat relative, density–frequency–dominance values. It is the actual basal area, frequency, or density of a particular species, without reference to the density, frequency, and dominance values of other species present in the area.
