peach leaf curl
peach leaf curl A disease which affects Prunus species, including peach, nectarine, almond, and (less often) apricot trees. The characteristic symptoms are the curling, thickening, and distortion of the leaves, which typically become bright red. The disease is caused by a fungus, Taphrina deformans.
