2. Small open or partly open free-standing structure, the roof (often tent-like) carried on posts or a light colonnade, used as a garden-pavilion, band-stand, or summer-house, often with an orientalizing character, in the Moorish, Hindoo, or other exotic style.

3. Public telephone-box or a small stall for the sale of newspapers, etc.
