fourteen Fourteen Holy Helpers a group of saints, also known as the Auxiliary Saints, whose intercessory powers in human affairs, especially illness, were regarded as particularly effective; their collective cult was especially strong in the Rhineland between the 14th and 16th centuries. The saints in question are St Acacius, St Barbara, St Blaise, St Catherine of Alexandria, St Christopher, St Cyricus, St Denis, St Erasmus, St Eustace, St George, St Giles, St Margaret of Antioch, St Pantaleon, and St Vitus.
Fourteen Points set out by US President Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924) in a speech to the US Congress, 8 January 1918, as the basis for peace negotiations in the First World War.
