binge / binj/ inf. • n. a short period devoted to indulging in an activity, esp. drinking alcohol, to excess: he went on a binge and was in no shape to drive [as adj.] binge eating a spending binge. • v. (bing·ing or binge·ing ) [intr.] indulge in an activity, esp. eating, to excess: some dieters say they cannot help binging on chocolate [as n.] (binging) her secret binging and vomiting.
