Zillah
Zillah ♀ Biblical name (from a Hebrew word meaning ‘shade’), borne by one of the two wives of Lamech (Genesis 4:19). The name was taken up in the first place by the Puritans, and again by fundamentalist Christian groups in the 19th century, partly because Zillah is only the third woman to be mentioned by name in the Bible, and her name was therefore prominent to readers of the Book of Genesis.
