Yank
Yank (1942–45), weekly magazine written by and published for enlisted men of the army. The most widely circulated service periodical during World War II, its most popular features were cartoons, such as The Sad Sack by George Baker, pinup pictures of girls, letters from soldiers, and editorial comment on issues of importance to men in the ranks.
