West African rain-forest floral region Part of R. Good's (The Geography of the Flowering Plants, 1974) African sub-kingdom, which contains a rich but poorly documented flora which has provided some valuable economic plants, e.g. Coffea liberica, and others of more local importance, including timber trees.
