Tulare , city (1990 pop. 33,249), Tulare co., S central Calif., in the San Joaquin valley; inc. 1888. It is a processing and shipping center for a farm (grapes, fruit, nuts, grain, and sugar beets), cotton, and dairy region. Wine and dairy products are produced, and there is diverse manufacturing. |
