Neuilly, Treaty of
Neuilly, Treaty of (27 Nov. 1919) The peace treaty between the Allied powers and Bulgaria after World War I, negotiated at the Paris Peace Conference and signed at Neuilly Castle in Paris. Bulgaria had to cede the rich wheat-growing area of southern Dobrudja to Romania and western Thrace to Greece, thus losing direct access to the Mediterranean. Smaller areas were to go to Yugoslavia and reparations were to be negotiated. Bulgaria's army was also to be limited to 20,000 men.

Treaty of Neuilly
Treaty of Neuilly , 1919, peace treaty concluded between the Allies and Bulgaria after World War I. It was signed at Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Bulgaria ceded part of W Thrace to Greece and several border areas to Yugoslavia; S Dobruja was confirmed in Romanian possession. Reparations were required, and the Bulgarian army was limited to 20,000 men. |
