Thomas Bourgchier

Bourchier, Thomas

Bourchier, Thomas (c.1410–86), Abp. of Canterbury from 1454 and Cardinal from 1467. He was much involved in political affairs. In 1457 he took a leading part in the trial of R. Pecock, Bp. of Chichester.
